TURKEY BOWL TRAGEDY!!!

Last week we headed up to Snowflake to celebrate Thanksgiving. Brannon played in the annual Turkey Bowl on Thursday morning at Snowflake High. About an hour after he left, our good friend Rick Lewis rushed into my mom's house with Brannon in tow saying that Brannon had broken his leg. I of course was thinking "he can't brake his leg today because we're going up to the casino to eat Thanksgiving lunch and I'll miss it." Well, we ended up at the ER in Show Low where it was confirmed that in fact he had broken his leg. Not only did he brake his leg, he may have injured his ligaments in his ankle which means surgery. We saw the Orthopedic Surgeon today who put this lovely boot on him that he has to wear for at least 4 weeks and we also have to make an appointment to see a foot surgeon to see if there is any ligament damage to his ankle. Oh, and if you're wandering we did miss lunch at the Casino and ended up eating McDonald's for Thanksgiving. (Dang Turkey Bowl)

Oh my GOSH!! What a total bummer! I hope that he doesn't need surgery and everything heals well. Get well vibes for Brannon and sympathy for Les. Oh and maybe some sympathy for Brannon too, but I'm thinking more for Les;) CRAP!! Stupid Turkey Bowl. I can't believe you had to eat at McDonalds for T-day. That sucks big time! What a disaster that day was...

Yikes! I think I would have taken McDonalds over my nasty "fried" Turkey. What do the kids think of Daddy's new shoes?
Hey and how do you know my friend Lindy Linarte?

That is hillarious...you know...in a "I can look back on this and laugh" kinda way! Bummer about the turkey though. Course my kids think McDonalds is super fun so they wouldn't have cared.
