Maddie + Dead Bird = Bad News

Let me start off by saying Maddie is a lover of all animals. She shows no prejudice. She did not get that from her mother. Whether they are big or small, hairy or bald, alive or DEAD!!! Maddie doesn't care. So, we're loading up the car to go to the gym this morning when I catch Maddie in our front yard holding this little guy. At the time he was still kicking a little and I almost vomited in my mouth. I told her to put him down and go wash her hands immediately. Well, the entire trip to the gym she's begging me to hold the bird again and to put it in a cage in her room. She didn't even care that it was dead. I was hoping when we got home the bird would be gone. No such luck. Maddie ran into the house to get a wipie and begged me to hold it. So, I picked it up for her and let her hold it for a few minutes before we threw it in the dumpster. I told her he went to heaven. Surprisingly enough she was o.k. with it. Yes, that's some kind of fluid coming from his mouth. GROSS!!
She was so proud.
Of course Bryce had to take a quick peek.

Life From a 4 year-old's perspective!

Maddie asked to borrow my camera the other day and these are the random pictures that she took. Not too shabby if I do say so myself.

Gangsta Paradise

While I was getting ready this morning Brycer came up with this get up. Doesn't he look like a little gangster? Flashing his gang sign.
Just a little side note on Bryce. A couple of weeks ago in nursery somebody asked my friend what his name was. She said, "Oh that's Bryce." He immediately responded, "No, I Brycers." He thinks that's his real name.

BOZO the Clown

O.K. so please try to turn your head sideways because I'm still trying to figure out how to rotate pictures. Last week I was going through some of Maddie old baby clothes and Bryce found this number and had to try it on. Maddie wore it on Halloween a few years ago. I just absolutely love this costume and this picture.

Here We Go Again!!

So, Brannon had surgery once again this morning. This better be the last time. The doctor went in and removed the plate and screws that were in his ankle. He was feeling so good after surgery that we enjoyed a nice sit down breakfast at the fancy establishment: Denny's.The hardware that was in his ankle.
Bryce showing off the hardware.

Time for a Haircut!!

Before the haircut (enough said). And...After. That's my beautiful sister-in-law Danielle. She's the best hairdresser ever. Just pretend like my arms aren't huge.

Pizza Party!!

Maddie and Bryce decided to have a picnic on our huge trampoline.

Maddie Ink!!

So, instead of buying Maddie a $15 barbie at Wal-Mart, I told her she could get som $0.88 tattoos. She put the entire package on her arms and legs in one night. She pretty much had a full sleeve. And to make it even better, they stayed on for over 3 weeks. I guess she's going to be a tattoo artist when she grows up. GREAT!!! These pictures don't do them justice.

Questions:

10 yrs ago: I was living at home with my parents attending Northland Pioneer College. (Go Eagles). I secretly loved living at home with my parents because I'm the baby of the family and so I was spoiled. Plus, I was the only one at home. I think they liked it too.

5 Things on my list of things to do today: make my bed, laundry (of course), take movies back, go to the gym, start my diet (it's Monday after all).

Things I would do if I suddenly was a Billionaire: pay off house and cars. Go on a long vacation. Spread the wealth with family and friends.

3 of my bad habits: biting my fingernails, biting the sides of my mouth (I know that sounds gross but what a stress reliever), eating bad food.

Places I have lived: Show Low, Snowflake, Flagstaff, Mesa (wow, so interesting)

Jobs I have had: Dairy Queen, secretary, file clerk, CNA, LPN, RN

Things most people don't know about me: I was a state champion volleyball player my senior year in H.S. Go Lobos!! I was nominated for royalty 6 times in H.S. and never won. That's got to be some kind of record.

I tag Misty, Becky, Tiffany, Melinda, and Kirstyn

Brycer's New Hat!

A couple of weeks ago Bryce picked this hat out at Wal-Mart for $3.oo. Bargain!! He hasn't taken it off since. Is he not the cutest little boy in the world? I love my big guy!!!

Harris Party of 30ish!!

And here we all are. My 2 awesome sisters got to the parade early to save 30 seats. Awesome!! They got some rude comments and some stares. Oh well, we had great seats. Thanks Cindy and Tandy!!

The Busiest Place on Earth!!

We decided to go to Disneyland on the busiest day of the year. They finally closed the park down and stop selling tickets after 160,000 people were let in. It was pure chaos. As you can tell from this picture I look a little frazzled (note the bangs, no makeup, and me strangling Maddie). Thank goodness for the motorized scooter because we got to go to the front of almost every line. But, it was hard keeping track of both kiddos. Thank goodness for the harness. They're all so happy to be taking a picture. Misty and Ryan's family. Not at all frazzled like me. Posing like superstars. It was like pulling teeth getting my family to pose for a picture.
After a long day at DL. She had to sleep with Tinker Bell. Which she specifically calls "Sneak a Peak at TinkerBell."
When we got back on the shuttle I had Maddie on her harness, Bryce at my side (sort of), a stroller, 2 huge bags of goodies from DL, and my diaper bag that I had to carry. Needless to say I was happy to get back to the Motel room.

Harris Family Vacation:)

My family decided to take a vacation to Disneyland this year. All 30 of us. We had a blast!! Eating at Knotts Berry Farm!!
A few of the Fellas!!
A few of the Ladies (Note Maddie's harness/leash) it was a lifesaver!! We told her it was cool.
Waiting for Honey I Shrunk The Audience.
My awesome parents!!

Christmas Morning!!!

Yay!!! A leapster!!!
Bryce just loved opening up the paper. He got a lot of cars this year. Maddie's hair looks sweet!!
