The Saga Continues...

We haven't updated everyone on the broken leg lately so here it goes. We saw the foot surgeon on Dec. 4th and he told us Brannon needed surgery ASAP. So, he had surgery 2 days later. They put a plate and 2 screws in his ankle to pull his ligaments back together. Surgery went well and the pain is starting to subside. He will be on crutches for the next 8 weeks. Then, he has to go back into surgery to have the plate and screws removed. After that, he will be in a walking boot for 4 weeks, afterwhich he will have to have physical therapy. So, around Valentines Day he should be good to go. We'll be looking forward to that. We're planning a trip to Disneyland after Christmas so he'll have to ride a motorized scooter. (Sweet!!!) Like I said before DANG TURKEY BOWL!!! He's so scared!!

This is his leg today!!

That is so crazy, all because of Turkey bowl. I am tempted to tell Bruce he can never play again. Your husband and Dan Larsen having surgery because of a little football, doesn't seem right.

Call my cell when you get to Disneyland. I want to take advantage of the perks of being in a group with a guy on a motorized scooter!
